“Rastros” (Traces) is a visual exploration of the concept of “vaga mundo” The work reflects on the human act of wandering and the traces we leave behind on Earth, questioning the legacy of our passage. Constructed from discarded materials—such as paper scraps and packaging—the book takes shape through photographs contributed by @thelmalunar_ (also a resident at M.A.L.A.) and images salvaged by the @acho_imagens project. All these elements were stitched together in a structure evocative of patchwork quilts. This technique creates an emotional bridge to the artist's family memory, paying tribute to the way his mother repurposed fabrics to sew the family's quilts.
