Chica Boyriven
Mini Bio
Chica Boyriven has a multicultural background. Born in São Paulo to French parents, her artistic journey began when she moved to Paris and enrolled in the School of Fine Arts. There, she studied in the studio of Pierre Alechinsky (CoBrA), who was deeply inspired by Eastern calligraphy. Under his guidance, she honed her use of paper as a medium for artistic expression. The book emerged naturally from her artistic path. Mentor at M.A.L.A.
WHO? (QUEM?)
This book is a collection of portraits of anonymous people. As I wander the streets, I feel surrounded by strangers, yet simultaneously part of a world where each person contains everyone, and everyone contains each person. The collage technique offers a multitude of possibilities, much like real-life encounters.
