Liliana Pardini makes books. Supervisor of the artistic residency M.A.L.A. – Morada Andarilha dos Livros de Artista, she is the author of 35 artist books, published “É Hoje!” (Barbatana, 2020), “Bagagem” (Pó de Estrelas, 2023), “Na Estrada” (Caixote, O Tal, 2024) e “Flora e as Saias Longas” (Bom Sucesso, 2024).

This project is based on the Dragon Scale Bookbinding format. Its inspiration comes from the intersection of Remédios Varo's work Homo Rodans with the quote by Niccolò Machiavelli, quoted in Georges Didi-Huberman's book Images – Occasions, about the passage of Miss Occasion, which is integrated into the book's pages. She was portrayed with Indian ink, and her passage was painted with colored pencil.
