Kelly Saraiva, born in Curitiba, is a visual artist, art educator and photographer. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Arts of Paraná, a degree in Painting from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná and a postgraduate degree in Visual Poetics from the same institution. She completed her master's degree in Creative and Educational Processes at UNESPAR, consolidating her academic and artistic career. She is currently working on an artist's book, always moving between the boundaries between photography, painting and engraving, addressing the structure of hybrid and interdisciplinary creations, through themes such as Reflection, Memory, Object, Affection and Space.
This object-book transforms memory objects with sentimental value into 3D printed lithophanes.
Detailed images are revealed by variations in thickness when illuminated from behind.
Presented in a sepia-toned light box, they evoke nostalgia and refer to the past, the central theme of this project.
