"Instructions for Getting Lost at Sea" proposes, through Cecília Meireles' poem "Mar Absoluto" (Absolute Sea), a journey into the inner emotional world. The work explores the paradox of teaching someone how to get lost, using the language of an instruction manual—steps, formats, and technical labeling—to organize the uncontrollable. Printed textures and embroidery give form to the symbolic landscape of the waters, while reading and handling the four booklets, each bound using a different binding structure, invite the body to physically experience the act of getting lost and being transformed.
