JURUBATUBA, SANTO AMARO, SOCORRO (JURUBATUBA, SANTO AMARO, SOCORRO - working-class neighborhoods in Sao Paulo)
The work recalls the memory of the workers' strikes that took place on the outskirts of São Paulo's south zone during the military dictatorship. It consists of a box containing five paper sculptures, which contain engravings and collages created from historical photographs and documents, along with a bound dos-a-dos book. The work seeks to challenge the boundaries between art and documentation, contributing to the debate on social memory and the historical erasure of working-class struggles.
