Amidst the Caatinga scrublands and silence, the story of "Sempre Vivas" women emerges. Like the flower of the Espinhaço Mountains, which after mining became a region's livelihood and a symbol of memory. Where the land is exhaustively exploited, culture and relationships are shaped by violence. The work translates into monotypes a lost family archive, discovered on a trip to the site to rescue the Chapada Diamantina, where mining violated women's bodies and destinies, leaving a legacy of struggle and resistance.
