Born in Piracicaba, where she lives and works. Graduated in Advertising – FAAP – Faculty of Communication, in 1975 – São Paulo (SP). Worked from 1974 to 2007 in advertising agencies and communication companies in the media area, in São Paulo.
She has been involved in the visual arts since 1988, participating in salons, exhibitions, study groups, courses and independent book and graphic material fairs. She is the owner and manager of Casa do Salgot, a cultural studio in Piracicaba with regular exhibitions from 2007 to 2016 – currently only a studio. She produces edited memories, waste/deconstruction of old works and works from the city’s surroundings – using photographs, texts, collages, drawings, watercolors, artist’s books and object books. Archived materials, time and memory are references for creation, editing and new research.

The theme led me to explore my photo archive of São Paulo, where I lived for 37 years, and Piracicaba, my hometown, where I returned to live. “Vai e Volta” reflects the displacements: the rush and tension of São Paulo in PB in contrast with the tranquility of Piracicaba with colorful images of the river, birds, fish and boats, representing the energy that invigorates us to live and create.
