RHAPSODY – FRAGMENTS OF A POETIC COMPOSITION
Christiane Hoffrichter
A symphony of forms and light. Impressionism studies light and its movement, capturing the ephemeral and fleeting aspects of nature. "To see what I cannot see, I must abandon rules and beliefs and allow myself to experience the moment. I capture the strength and calm beauty of the sea." The ray of light becomes a brushstroke. And the photograph becomes an impressionist "painting." The project consists of photographs taken along the Brazilian coast, in the four seasons of the year and at different times of the day.
