For this edition of M.A.L.A., I chose to use fragments of varvite, a type of sedimentary rock, a material I’ve used frequently since 2023. The intention was to record the journey, the passage, the “path” a stone can take through a book, leaving its marks, its traces. Considering the stones’ relief, I used the them as stamps, creating graphic impressions.
