Eneida Soares de Macedo
Mini Bio
Eneida Soares de Macedo, born in Porto Alegre (1953), lives in Florianópolis. A retired civil engineer, she studied textile art and ceramics during the 15 years she lived in Belgium. She created her first artist's book in 1998, during her textile art studies. Since 2013, she has been a member of the Florianópolis Artist's Book group.

The book depicts excerpts from a 16-km route I take every two weeks, starting at 1 p.m. and returning at 6 p.m. The photos were taken in May (mid-fall) with my cell phone from the car window. These photos were complemented with embroidery and gray and black ink drawings.
