The M.A.L.A Exhibition Continues Until November at the Médiathèque Marguerite Duras in Paris

The French season of M.A.L.A is not over yet! The artist books created by the 2025 residents remain on display until November 9 at the Médiathèque Marguerite Duras in Paris. This public library is dedicated to the arts, artist books, and experimental publications, with special attention to women authors and works that challenge traditional formats.

This was M.A.L.A’s second exhibition in France, following the show at the Enseigne des Oudin, held from September 25 to October 4. In both spaces, we were warmly received — a journey of exchanges, discoveries, and encounters that reflects one of M.A.L.A’s greatest goals. It was a pleasure to receive the support of Saison Brésil-France and the Embassy of Brazil in France in promoting these exhibitions.

Na mediateca, além da exposição, também fomos convidados a realizar uma oficina de livro de artista para o público francês! A atividade foi conduzida pela orientadora Estela Vilela, que apresentou experimentações gráficas com estêncil e a técnica de encadernação dos à dos, unindo gesto artesanal, invenção e diálogo entre culturas.
